Ad.net’s journey began with a simple passion for domain buying, a hobby that sparked the creation of Findology.com. As Findology grew, a key partnership with goto.com (which later became Yahoo Search Marketing) played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s direction. This collaboration marked the beginning of Findology's leadership in the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) search space, helping advertisers and publishers connect with new audiences.

In 2007, Findology was acquired by Photon Group, one of Australia’s largest advertising companies, in a deal valued at $19.25 million in cash and $3.5 million in shares. The acquisition allowed the team to expand and continue evolving within the digital advertising landscape.

The company was bought back from Photon Group in 2011. With a renewed focus, Findology rebranded in 2012 as Ad.net. The rebrand aimed to expand beyond traditional search networks like Google, exploring new traffic channels such as domain and email, while also developing self-serve campaign management tools for advertisers.

Today, Ad.net is an independent ad network that reaches over 100 million unique visitors each month, managing more than 40 billion monthly page views. The company’s evolution from Findology to Ad.net reflects a commitment to adapting to the changing digital landscape and continually enhancing its services to meet the needs of advertisers and publishers.
